Our story
Hometown Honkers
A waterfowl brand out of West Tennessee.
Why the name
Honkers are the Canada geese that come down the Mississippi Flyway every winter and pile into the cut corn and bean fields of West Tennessee. Hometown is where we chase them: the same fields, the same pits and the same boat ramps we grew up on.
The brand started as shirts for the crew and the people who hunt with us. They kept getting asked about, so here we are.
Proverbs 12:27
“The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.” It is on our Instagram and it is the standard for how we hunt and how we run this: scout hard, show up early, take care of what you kill and take care of the people you hunt with.
How we make it
Everything we sell gets worn by us first, in the dove field in September and the pit in January. We print on heavyweight blanks that hold up to a truck wash and a season of use, and we keep the runs small so we can stand behind every piece.
